Apple Introduces “Apple Business” — New All-in-One MDM Platform for Businesses

Apple has officially launched Apple Business, a new all-in-one business platform designed for companies of all sizes. The new solution combines Mobile Device Management (MDM), business productivity tools, and customer engagement features into a single platform.

Key Features of Apple Business

Built-in Apple MDM
Companies can now manage iPhones, iPads, and Macs directly within Apple Business without needing separate MDM subscriptions. IT administrators can configure security policies, deploy apps, manage employee groups, and automate device enrollment.

Zero-Touch Deployment
New “Blueprints” allow businesses to preconfigure devices with company apps and settings before employees receive them. Devices are ready to use immediately after unboxing.

Managed Apple Accounts
Apple Business supports integration with identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace, enabling automated account creation and better separation between company and personal data.

Business Email & Collaboration
Businesses can create professional email, calendar, and directory services using their own domain name, helping improve internal communication and collaboration.

Apple Maps Business Promotion
Apple Business also introduces new marketing tools, allowing businesses to manage branding across Apple services and place local ads in Apple Maps for better customer visibility.

Why This Matters for Businesses

Apple is simplifying business IT management by combining several existing services — Apple Business Manager, Apple Business Essentials, and Apple Business Connect — into one unified platform. This makes Apple device deployment and management easier, especially for small and medium-sized businesses without dedicated IT teams.

The platform is available in over 200 countries and regions, with optional upgrades such as additional iCloud storage and AppleCare+ for Business.

Industry Reaction

Many IT administrators and Apple business users have welcomed the addition of built-in MDM and simplified device management. Some enterprise users are also evaluating how Apple Business compares with existing enterprise MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf.

Our View

For companies already using Apple devices, Apple Business could become an attractive entry-level MDM solution for centralized device deployment, app management, and employee onboarding. However, larger enterprises with advanced compliance, security, and cross-platform management requirements may still require third-party enterprise MDM platforms.
